The Public Sector Group will be meeting on Wednesday October 12th at the Westminster Archives Centre and Friday October 21st at the Driving Standards Agency in Nottingham. The theme for the day will be Digital Continuity for Records Management and the day will be sponsored by the PDFA Competence Agency. The main presentation of the day will be by speakers from the National Archives who will be presenting the issues covered in TNA guidance on digital continuity. There will also be a case study presented by Lindsay Ould (Kings College London), a sponsor presentation on PDF/A as ISO standard for long term archiving. There will also be a panel discussion at the end of the day.
The Public Sector Group is open to all members of the Information and Records Management Society and any one else who is interested. Preference will be given to IRMS members until two weeks before the event when it will be opened up to all other interested delegates. Please state if you are a member when you sign up for the day and quote your membership number.
