Hi Roisin,
I don't know whether you are familiar with the Workplace Law Network (daily bulletins are sent to your inbox with current news and information....well worth joining!) but one of the headlines today was someone who was paid out £21,000 compensation as a result of office lights being too bright and causing her migraines. She ended up having to leave her place of work.
Have a look on www.workplacelaw.net.
Kind regards,
Rita

Hi All
I'm seeing an employee soon who's undergoing tests because of ongoing severe migraines.
He's an office worker who works in an open plan office, therefore reducing overhead light / glare from general lighting is not really going to be feasible for him.
I'm looking into ideas that would help him in his work while his symptoms are problematic for him, and wondered if anyone had any other ideas? I'll go through the usual office workstation assessment of course and see what I can come up with.
Thank you in anticipation
Roisin
