Ok just out of curiosity,
Would anyone consider using "Mediawiki" as a CMS ?
I have not really tried Wordpress, but I am assuming Mediawiki might be
little bit more technical to begin with, but it has a very wide group of
users and has been shown, by Wikipedia, to scale very well. It is OS
with a huge range of extensions/plugins, custom templates, semantics
with possible SPARQL End-point, variable media, maps, connections to
external systems, good edit/version administration ....
I have used it quite a lot for specific projects, but not as a full CMS,
so I thought I would just add it it to the conversation.
