Hi Brunella
I joined Manchester Libraries online - and access the BSI database at
http://www.manchester.gov.uk/info/500140/library_online_services/110/24_hour
_library.
You only have to be a UK resident to qualify for membership. They sent my
card to my home address - it wasn't necessary to visit one of their
libraries.

Subject: British Standards Database online
Good morning all!
Is there any public access to British Standards database in London / GL
area other than at the British Library where it seems they have been
negotiating a new license for weeks now - and with no possibility for the
users to know when these negotiations end?
Thanks
