Hi Muhammad
> what is the differences between UMD and EMI middleware release?
UMD includes EMI products that - in addition to the EMI certification -
have passed an additional set of quality controls by EGI: verification
and staged rollout. Products that are part of UMD are available from a
dedicated repository:
http://repository.egi.eu/category/umd_releases/distribution/umd_1/
During verification documentation, installation, and functionality are
checked [1].
The products that pass verification, are then tested in production by a
a group of "Early Adopter" production sites. Testing in a production
environment completes the previous quality checks of EMI and EGI. UMD
only includes products that have successfully passed staged rollout [2].
I suggest the deployment of UMD for all the gLite 3.2 services that are
already part of UMD (UMD currently includes a subset of of EMI products,
there are a few additional ones that are still in verification).
