Subject: VIDaaS Project literature review now available
*** Apologies for cross posting ***
The VIDaaS Project team recently reviewed the literature on database use by academic researchers. The review covers general works on database technology (including a look at shared services and the cloud), plus some case studies of specific database projects. We aimed to give an overview of both the opportunities offered by these technologies, and the challenges that still remain.
The review is available from the Project Outputs<http://vidaas.oucs.ox.ac.uk/outputs.xml> page of the VIDaaS website.
Best wishes,
Meriel.
