The first uses the example of survey traverses and offsets along the Vennbahn boundary (Belgium-Germany), specifically the former Belgian counter-enclave at Fringshaus.
Whyte, B., (2011), “On the Use of Excel (and other Spreadsheets) for Mapping”, Cartographica. 46(1):41-50
The second uses the example of the cartesian coordinates of turning points of the enclave boundaries at Baarle-Nassau/Baarle-Hertog (Belgium/Netherlands).
Whyte, B., (2011), "Using Excel to map boundaries: a new example", The Globe. 68:37-43.
Cartographica comes from the University of Toronto.
The Globe is the journal of the Australian and New Zealand Map Society.
