Hi Sarah,
We had the complete coverage of 1991 flyover for South Glos scanned about two years ago now (maybe a little less). Cost in the region of £5,000 if I remember right, but that was for very high quality scans. If you have the negatives, which we did, they produce better quality than scanning from the prints.

Subject: Digitising Aerial photographs
Dear all,
I've been asked to investigate how much it would cost to have some of our aerial photographs that are not currently available digitally to be scanned and converted into something we can use on GIS. Has anyone done anything like this? I know we often discuss scanning grey literature but I couldn't remember anyone specifically talking about aerial photographs.
Any information gratefully received.
All the best
Sarah
