Dear All
I follow some of these debates with interest. However, I have to say that
I am appalled by the personal nature of some of the comments posted on this
network. This seems to be the main problem with this network.
Eg I think that it is completely inappropriate to write:
- "There are people on this list who appear to be devoid of a brain."
- "Geez, you really need to check if your head is screwed on the right
way! "
- "[sic] Dream you communist dreams somewhere else mate! It wont
happen! "
- "This is an absolutely awful and idiotic response to what has been
going on here."
Can we agree to discuss/debate/attack the idea rather than attack the
person individually?
Thanks
Francis Dickinson

There are people on this list who appear to be devoid of a brain. I started
the health equity network 12 years ago as a forum for reasoned debate. It's
lost it's way, hasn't it, which has not happened to any of my other groups
or networks. Maybe it's the subject matter. Maybe I'm to blame for its
failure.

Rioting is not the worst thing in the world. Accepting oppression quietly
is far worst.
