My client, an international player in the field of marketing analytics, seeks an outstanding geostatistician that can apply statistical modelling skills to location planning. Working on behalf of leading blue-chip clients you will be using advanced geographical and statistical techniques such as segmentation, regression, GIS and predictive modelling to aid location planning. As a part of the busy Local Planning Team, you will specialise in developing turnover models, network strategies, customer segments and shopping models for retailers and financial service providers.
The successful candidate will hold a numerical degree, and ideally upwards of a years' statistical/geostatistical work experience, but they are willing to consider exceptional graduates with a keen interest in location planning. To be considered you will be able to demonstrate your ability to create statistical models using statistical software such as SAS or SPSS. Excellent communication skills are a must in this consultancy/client facing role, which will give you massive exposure to a variety of internal and external clients.
My client is particularly interested in candidate’s from a store forecasting or location/spatial analyst background, and experience in retail location analysis is a definite advantage.
