Hello everyone. I have utilized ICA for denoising of data quite successfully on my full 4D time series data but I have a question about whether there is a difference in using fsl_regfilt when a number of volumes are omitted from the MELODIC analysis (delete volumes option). The component structures are different when running MELODIC on a full 4D data set and when running the same MELODIC setup after deleting the first 20 volumes of the time series so is there an option I need to include in the fsl_regfilt command to indicate that a certain number of volumes were not included in the ICA analysis? Or will the command automatically take that into account? I'm not sure if I'm being clear on this or not because I don't know exactly how the 'noise' components are removed. Thanks in advance for any input on this matter.
