The Royal Statistical Society has arranged an additional running of its popular one-day course 'Presenting Data' on Thursday 13 October at the RSS offices in London.
This one-day training event, presented by Ed Swires-Hennessy, provides the foundation to all presentations of statistical information. The basic principles of presenting information in tables, charts, maps and text are explained. These are illustrated and then reinforced through practical exercises. The day will be a mix of presentation, tuition and exercises which all reinforce the communication message.
Participants will be equipped to disseminate statistical messages in a clear, accurate and meaningful way across various media to general audiences.
It is not necessary to be a statistician to attend, as no formulae are presented.
