One of the world’s global, leading, research-based pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations, is recruiting a statistical team leader to join their UK headquarters. This position serves as an account manager, line manager, and consultant. The candidate will primarily be responsible for the statistical component of clinical trials, study protocols; indirectly by reviewing or approving documents, or directly for high priority or complex regulatory submission programs. The successful candidate will also give advice to statistical programmers in order to establish strategy and deliver statistical results for clinical studies. The position closely collaborates also on the design of clinical programs and clinical studies and validation of statistical output in SAS.

Essential Candidate requirements:
•BSc in Statistics;
•Demonstrates statistical expertise in clinical trials;
•Demonstrates substantial experience in a related industry (Pharma/CEO) with demonstrable; experience in a scientific leadership position and/or line management;
•Experience in interactions with regulatory bodies, in particular the FDA;
•Excellent influencing skills, which are applied effectively at all levels of the organisation and across functional boundaries;
•Ability to work in a team;
•Excellent project management skills with the ability to simultaneously organise and manage a complex variety of projects, people and tasks.
•Self-motivated, independent worker;
•Deep Scientific understanding of clinical research arena, able to provide advice on due diligence and feasibility assessments for new opportunities;
•Prior experience working on dental clinical studies;
