In conjunction with our anaesthetic colleagues we have just purchased an ambu aScope for the difficult airway trolley.
http://www.ambu.com/Default.aspx?AreaID=28
Not used in anger yet, but looks like a reasonable to solution to funding a non-disposable one. £1000 for the screen and 5 scopes. Scopes are single use (with a time expiry feature on them), but theoretically could be used for the nasoendoscopic stuff as well - epiglottitis etc...
Best wishes,
M

Subject: Video laryngoscopy
Hi all
I am trying to compile a list of all video laryngoscopes/stylets
So far I have:
Glidescope
Glidescope Ranger
Levitan (optical stylet)
McGrath (2 models)
AirTraq
I am sure I am missing some - any info on names, links to sites, experience
would be very gratefully received.
Cheers all :)
