The Fondation Cartier next exhibition is dealing with mathematics. That sounds interesting. If you happen to be in or to come to Paris
Here the short announcement
Mathematics: A Beautiful Elsewhere
October 21, 2011—February 19, 2012
http://fondation.cartier.com/
With the exhibition Mathematics: A Beautiful Elsewhere the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain invites the public to participate in a total and original creative experience conceived in association with the Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques (IHÉS) and presented under the patronage of UNESCO. On October 21, 2011, it will be opening its doors to the community of mathematicians and asking internationally renowned artists to accompany them so that, together, they might create opportunities for seeing, hearing, doing, thinking and discovering mathematics. The exhibition will thus be an unveiling of the mental landscapes, the infinite horizons and the invisible mysteries of a way of thinking that is fueled by dreams, intuition and creativity.
