OK, in this case the release notes at
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/torque-2.5.7-1.el5.1 are simply
wrong :-( Furthermore: according to the documentation at 'Cluster
Resources' only the submit hosts need to have munge enabled. This is
different to:

To enable munge on your torque cluster:
* Install the munge package everywhere on your cluster.
* On one host generate a key with /usr/sbin/create-munge-key
* Copy the key, /etc/munge/munge.key to all hosts on your cluster.
* Start the munge deamon everywhere. service munge start &&
chkconfig munge on

Actually even the advisory EGI-ADV-20110615-02 is wrong, as there aren't
any new EPEL packages currently - they are still in EPEL-testing. Nodes
with an activated EPEL repository cannot install them.
Concerning the munge-support in Torque I probably need to open a ticket
in RedHat's bugzilla ...
