Architects, critics, museum professionals and academics debate the principles and practicalities behind recent displays of Greek and Roman antiquities. Over lunch participants may visit The Fitzwilliam Museum's new Greece and Rome Gallery.
The day culminates in the 2011 Severis Lecture when Professor Dimitrios Pandermalis (Director, New Acropolis Museum, Athens) will talk on ‘The New Acropolis Museum: Project and Realisation’. This will be followed by a reception in the Fitzwilliam Museum.
