Accents - some ears can pick my kiwi accent though I left NZ in 1963 aged
25.
Phoned by some charity worker today, I noticed the way she said Thing.
'Are you a kiwi?' 'Moved there from Somerset when I was twelve', she said.
Both regional notes were to be heard in her 'accent'.
