Thanks, to all who responded and to any others who read. I have tweaked a
few things and will attack it again this morning. I have Hass's email
address, so may send it to him - thanks for the push, Barry. I am running a
workshop this weekend on revising, editing, etc, so this may serve as a
case. The one I put up here was the second draft from a scribbled prompt
when I did it ...
