Hi Jo,
Like Tracey and Carr I also work in this way - we all worked for the same company! I would echo their comments - it has it's pros and cons - it cuts out all the travel and initially it can be difficult until you develop your telephone assessment skills which I would say are slightly different from doing it fact to face. Time management is the key and developing a focused working style early on has really helped me. When I do a a telephone clinic I would usually do between 12 - 15 cases per day. I start at 08:00 and finish at 17:00 with all my case notes and reports written and sent.
Contact me off line if I can be of any further help.
Rgds,
Jeremy
