I hope to turn up for the talks on one day at least, and look forward to
seeing you there.
Re the 1842 report: it's a pity it's not the one I want. I suspect that it
relates mainly to coal. If it includes south Wales then the Glamorgan
Record Office or the South Wales Coalfield people in Swansea might be
interested. I remember being told that the Irish University Press was nothing to do
with Ireland or a university.
Best wishes

Contrary to popular belief the centre is proving , bedding , towels and
soap. The secretary confused an email and and in turn asked Delegates to
bring their own.
We still have a few rooms and bunk room spaces available, Camping of
course,
meals during the day can be booked, you can turn up as a Day visitor for
talks and surprisingly we have a few places on the bigger winch and SRT
trips but advance booking is essential for these. There are also spaces on
a
range of surface walks
We have trade stands which include IA Recordings who will be presenting
the
conference video, Singing River Caving Supplies for or the latest gear, the
AIA and of course myself www.moorebooks.co.uk but due to a recent health
scare will have a much reduced stand but you can pre-order or arrange to
call as I live only 20 miles from the centre.
We are also running a raffle for the MCRO and I have donated a picture and
2
books towards this
