Hi Aneesa
This may be obvious, but I feel it is useful to make people aware that
RSS feeds can be delivered by email as well as viewed in an RSS reader.
This is something I do in the context of blogs. I don't know if this is
relevant in the context of current awareness services, but one thing that
occurs to me is the possible importance on the metrics one may get from such
services. I mentioned this in a blog post last year:

t-not-by-mailing-lists/
Hope this is useful.
Brian

Subject: Current Awareness and RSS feeds
**Apologies for cross posting**
Dear All,
We have recently set up a current awareness service for which we would like
to offer an RSS option so that our users can subscribe to their relevant
bulletin. Is this something that anyone else has been able to successfully
implement? We would be really interested in hearing about the experiences of
others.
I am also happy to share the findings with the rest of the list.
Many thanks,
Aneesa Thantrey
