It was mentioned in several messages last month that the Bodleian Library (OX/U-1) will in general be unable to accept requests in July because of the implementation of a new electronic library system. HOWEVER, THE BODLEIAN LAW LIBRARY (OX/U-15) WILL CONTINUE TO ACCEPT REQUESTS AS USUAL. This is because almost all of our collection is housed on-site and almost nothing has to be requested from a remote storage area. The only exception consists of certain items from the Official Papers collection for which the location is given as LAW Offsite. However, if the location is given as LAW Main Libr or LAW Offpapers, then the item remains available for interlibrary loan provided it meets our normal criteria for loans. Photocopies can also be provided through the I.L.L. service as usual.
Note that photocopies (or scans), but not loans, can also be provided (chiefly for commercial users) through the document delivery service (which is separate from the I.L.L. service). See: www.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/law/services/ill/docdel
