*** The position ***
The post holder will administer the Library’s print and electronic periodical subscriptions, fulfil document delivery requests and provide backup to the Acquisitions Manager. Additionally the post holder will contribute to the staffing of the Welcome Desk.

ISD (Information Systems Division) is responsible for the School’s IT and Library Services.

We believe in business excellence and will continuously improve services, expand content and extend access to corporate, remote and mobile clients.
The Library Service is focused around the Taunton Centre, and the team is responsible for delivering support, research advice and training on library resources (books, journals, annual reports and electronic resources) to the School’s students, executive clients, alumni, staff and faculty.
The team actively seeks to develop and enhance a service culture. The Continuous Improvement Plan ensures that process and procedure is always adapting to the requirements of the School and the customer.
*** The individual ***
The successful candidate will be educated to A Level or equivalent and possess knowledge of both hard copy & electronic information as well as online information. You will have previous experience of working in a library or information service and preferably possess acquisitions or subscriptions experience. The post-holder will possess first class customer service skills, excellent communication skills, able to prioritise workload and have the ability to maintain service standards under pressure, in addition to team working exposure and knowledge or experience of MS Office applications
