I think that is fine as long as you do the math right.
Peace,
Matt.

Subject: [FSL] averaging rotated bvecs
Hey everyone
I have a question concerning the averaging of rotated bvecs.
I have 2 sets of 30-direction scans (each with 6 b0), from which I wish to
perform tractography analyses using rotated bvecs files.
Therefore, I plan to:
1. ECC 2x36 scans
2. rotate 2x36 bvecs
3. average the 2x36 scans
Question: Is it ok to simply average the 2 rotated bvecs files for use in
tractography analyses?
Thank you for your advice!
Daniela
