Lecturer in Classics and Ancient History

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Classics and Ancient History,
with an emphasis on Latin language and literature.
We are seeking someone who is open to collaboration with scholars in
other disciplines in the School - Art History and Curatorship, Drama,
English, Film & New Media, Gender Sexuality & Culture. The appointee
will be expected to develop and maintain a strong research profile,
contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate coursework teaching,
supervise honours and higher degree research students, and undertake
administrative roles and community/professional service activities
that contribute to the overall effectiveness and standing of the
School.
The appointee will have PhD qualification in Classics with a
demonstrated track record of research and teaching experience in
Latin, Ancient Greek and/or Classics at a tertiary level. A
willingness to contribute to collaborative interdisciplinary teaching
as well as a commitment to contributing to the wider community will
also be required.
