Hello all,
there is still time to register for the CETIS workshop at the Edinburgh
Repository Fringe next Friday (5 Aug).
The workshop covers developments in the innovative use of repositories,
content management systems and web based tools to manage and share
materials for teaching and learning. We will have presentations and
discussion on how the ePrints software supports teaching and learning
communities, on the ALTO (Arts Learning and Teaching Online,
http://blogs.arts.ac.uk/alto/ ) project's "ecosystem", an update on the
US Learning Registry, on the use of Wiki and Bloging software for OER
resources and on using the Intralibrary repository software for
assessment item banking.
That's all on top of the rest of the Repository Fringe on the 3rd and
4th Aug, and everything else that happens in Edinburgh in August that
will just be getting underway.
