Dear all,
[Apologies for x-posting]
I wonder if you can help me by completing a short survey(s) about your use of radio archive material (recordings or papers) in research or in teaching (there are actually 2 separate surveys).
Responses will feed into a report that Kristin Skoog and I are writing for Bournemouth University on radio archives/collections in the UK. We are fortunate to have the assistance in this process of Paul Wilson, the British Library's Curator of Radio. The idea is that the report will identify issues of concern or interest to the archive community, to broadcasting organizations, and to (last but certainly not least) the research/HE community. There will then be a (small-scale) 'summit' at the British Library this Autumn, in which representatives from various institutions and organizations will be invited to discuss their priorities in this area, the report's tentative findings, and possible future courses of action or ways of working in partnership.
Here are the surveys:
1) Use of archive by researchers

2) Use of archive in teaching

Please feel free to post an e-mail reponse instead or as well as doing the survey.
Also, please circulate vie e-mail or Twitter/FB if at all possible.
Many thanks in advance for your input and help!
Best Wishes,
Dr. Ieuan Franklin.
