The University of Birmingham is investing into a strategic expansion of its research profile around an area of current strength within the School of Biosciences. We are particularly interested to appoint in the area of PLANT CELL BIOLOGY/GENETICS, reflecting the importance of this area of research in the University of Birmingham’s strategic priority area of Food Security. You will have an internationally competitive track record with experience in independent and collaborative research, leading a multi-disciplinary research team, an internationally competitive publication and grant track record. The appointee will also be expected to contribute to the delivery and management of postgraduate and/or undergraduate teaching. It is also anticipated the appointee will provide leadership within the discipline area and promote cross-college and university collaborations, where appropriate.
