EAGE Annual Meeting – Near Surface 2011
12–14 September 2011, Leicester, UK
organised by the Near Surface Geoscience Division of EAGE, supported by the Geological Society
and its Near Surface Geophysics Group (NSGG) - The 17th European Meeting of Environmental and Engineering Geophysics
SPECIAL STUDENT PROGRAMME
This is a reminder about the special student programme organised at Near Surface 2011 to encourage student participation at the meeting. If you are an undergraduate or early-stage postgraduate student (UK, EU or international) and have thought about attending, but you’re not (yet) in a position to contribute a full paper, then this is for you! Attending Near Surface 2011 will allow you to network with fellow students and researchers in near-surface geophysics.
Bursaries are still available towards the cost of the EAGE student registration fee, assisting you to attend the conference and present a poster paper on a geophysical topic of your choice in a special student poster session. Applications can be made directly to the session convenors below, and contributions will be subject to a light review only.
Further details can be found under www.nsgg.org.uk/meetings; the flyer for the student programme is here: www.nsgg.org.uk/resources/Meetings-&-Downloads/EAGE_NS2011_Student_Programme_v4.pdf.
Please note that the deadline for abstract submissions and bursary applications will be Friday 8th July 2011.
We look forward to seeing you in Leicester!
