with apologies for the short notice, can I just draw your attention to a workshop being hosted by the Bristol Institute for Advanced Studies on Monday 11 July 2-5 p.m. as part of our 'Remembering Dictatorship' series. The theme of the workshop is 'When do we remember?', focusing on the role of dates and periodisation in memories of state socialism. There are three papers, followed by discussion of the key themes to emerge from the presentations:
