Subject: theories on satisfaction with maternity care
Dear all,
I am am a midwife from Germany and I'm doing my PhD on women's
satisfaction with intra- and postnatal care in hospital in relation to
mode of birth (secondary data analysis of a large dataset of postal
surveys of postnatal women).
While there are a number of theories for patient satisfaction with
hospital care, the literature on theories for women's satisfaction seems
to be scarce. Is anyone aware of work on theories with maternity care
(intra- and postnatal care) apart from the paper by Bramadat and
Driedger from 1993 'Satisfaction with childbirth: theories and methods
of measurement'?
Thank you for your help!
Best wishes
Katja Stahl
