I posted back on April 29 the problem with fclose (see post 046379). I
still have yet to get this resolved. I attempted to do something in
debugger, but to no avail given the nature of the error.
I'm attaching again the flavor of the error:

I must have done something wrong with the way I copied my images file
paths into the batch script. I first did it manually into the file which
failed. If I do use the edit funtion in the batch editor to copy the
paths, it's working fine.
