Session Details
M Shed is an exciting and innovative new museum for Bristol (opening 17th June 2011). Thought-provoking and fun, M Shed explores the city’s history from prehistoric times to the 21st century. Stories about the city and its people have been discovered through working with experts and communities – a process that will continue for the life of the museum. Rich collections of objects, art and archives will also play an important part in bringing those stories to life.
At-Bristol has recently opened its All About Us gallery, a new £1.5 million interactive exhibition. The All About Us experience has over 50 new hands-on exhibits including a vein viewer, high speed camera and live lab. Visitor research and user testing informed the development of these interactives, experiences that focus on the science behind what it is to be human.
