Dear All,
Does anyone have a system in place for screening Clinical Observers? Our Trust policy is that they have no hands on experience, and therefore are not classed as EPP.
The problem seems to be that they arrive for interview, some have flown in specifically, and they are sent to OH after interview for clearance. The majority will not be starting their observership for 2-3 months.
I am really interested to hear what other Trusts do in terms of vaccines and bloods, do you 'blanket' screen? do you charge the individual? do you do CXR on screening day? If they start a course of vaccine, they are only with the trsut for 4 weeks?
Thanks,
Tracy
