In a move causing a LOT of debate, Oracle have proposed they give the
OOo code to Apache Foundation. This would provide a neutral home for
the core code under a permissive licence and with the benefit of
Apache's excellent community development support.

Firstly I think it would be good for someone to put themselves down as
an initial contributor with accessibility interests the accessibility
point of view. Who could that be? Someone from the AEGIS work?
Secondly what is the status of OOo accessibility and related projects
and what future developments are desirable. I understand iA2 on
Windows is in a state of stuck. Are there other gaps that need
addressing for compelling ODF accessability? What about the AEGIS
symbols/ccf work and DAISY converters?
Finally How important is ODF accessibility to the community and what
funding or business opportunities are there that could support further
a11y work?
