WATERWHEEL is an online space where you can interact, share, perform &
debate about water as a topic & metaphor, with people around the world or
right next door! Cost-free, accessible with just a click & open to everyone.

- launch online 22 August
- uploading media/data is already possible on the website
http://water-wheel.net - short video showing how to do it on the temporary
interface http://www.vimeo.com/25105431
- the 4-15 July laboratory on the Tap will allow people to try not only
webcams (which can move, rotate, resize, flip in real time), but also mix &
use media palettes, real time drawing tool & type chat. LAB DETAILS below.

~~~~WATERWHEEL, on your arrival on the website, rotates & ripples with
~~~~the latest uploaded media about water: images, video, music, text,
~~~~spreadsheets or sound.  You can explore, comment or share your own
~~~~media, stories, info, widening your pool of people.
~~~~The TAP, an online streaming venue, offers live performances,
~~~~presentations or events.  You can participate from any location,
~~~~either as a crew member interacting with audiences using webcams,
~~~~drawing tools & media, or as an audience through the chat facility.
~~~~FOUNTAINS are outcomes that well up from the project.  They are
~~~~mapped out on the website, so you can see what WATERWHEEL is
~~~~powering.  They can be initiated by anyone.  A Fountain could be a
~~~~book, a performance, an exhibition, a community project, a
~~~~multi-generational exchange, a water sciences symposium - let your
~~~~imagination steer the way!

WATERWHEEL will be as interesting as it will be diverse. So please take a
few minutes, and pass on this information to your networks, friends and
family, and start uploading your papers, stories, images, videos,
soundscape, music....Looking forward to seeing you on WATERWHEEL.
Cheers
