Hello world!
I'm still a bit stuck in May, sorry for the very late involvement in recent discussion.
I'm now physically away from 'trapped' (annatrap.lv/trapped_gateways), but still feeling trapped. //though I must say I like the feeling as long as it's easy easy to generate or almost automatical data collecting.
Relating to the exhibition for me is quite intimate - a simplified version of me being home home has in a way become cloned and for public view. A quite boring reality-show.
* physically ofline * Aram wrote that he works best at home. I'm now sitting by a fire next to the beach almost in the middle of nowhere and no human-made sounds - just the waves, fire, wind and Nelle (the dog) trying to catch some mosquitos (the only annoying thing here).
Rosanne - I very much feel what you're saying, probably only a bit differently. After all we don't want the tech to be human, 'only' responsive (rather than interactive. * physically online * I actually do wish I could have sent this e-mail straight from my thoughts, not using a piece of artefact in my hand and at the same time keep enjoying the power of thoughts in a very 'feelable' environment.
Goodnight to all, I'm running out of firewood and it's almost time for bed (or tent in my case),
