Dear all,
My apologies for cross-posting.
I have had problems sourcing images, either historical or contemporary of
the copper mining or smelting landscapes or sites of:
1. Copper sites in Namaqualand, RSA, particularly O'okiep and Port Nolloth.
2. Copper sites and ports in Chile, particularly the area of Guayacan but
any site would do.
I need relatively high quality images. They would be reproduced in the
forthcoming exhibition the Global and Local Worlds of Welsh Copper Project
is launching on 2 July at the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea. This is
a free exhibition which aims to raise awareness of this global industry,
highlighting Wales's role in it.
I have identified some online but have not had any luck getting in touch
with website contacts.
If anyone can help I would be very grateful.
With all good wishes,
Tehmina
