But like I said earlier this week - is it that the train company wants no-one to use their mobile phones in that carriage, or is that it wants a quiet zone ? The two concepts are not interchangeable, nor exclusive. You can use your mobile phone and still remain silent (texting, playing Solitaire, looking at web pages) and you can switch off your mobile phone and still be a noisy pain in the bum !

Sorry Emma hadn't seen your message before I posted a couple of minutes ago! Clearly I'm now thinking on the "right" lines. A twin space. Like with mobile-less carriages on trains (sometimes). Now all I need to do is convert our Museum into a quiet zone!
