Library Teach Meet in Scotland
Stirling and Inverness
Wednesday 20th July 2011, 1pm to 4pm
A Library TeachMeet is an informal get together for Librarians to share
ideas and experiences of teaching (and probably some cake and maybe
drinks after too!). There will be a TeachMeet in Stirling on 20th July,
with video-conferencing in Inverness.
Call for speakers
Everyone is welcome to attend the TeachMeet, but we do need speakers.
Could you give a two minute or seven minute presentation on any aspect
of your teaching? Perhaps you've tried something new recently, have had
a breakthrough in one of your classes or have learnt something that is
changing the way you teach?
TeachMeets are a great way of practising public speaking in a very
informal setting and would be good evidence for Chartership or your CV.
Venues
Stirling University Library in Stirling and the Highland Health Science
Library in Inverness.
