SAC is a Scottish organisation dedicated to innovation and the transfer of knowledge to the land based industries.  Our 900 staff provide consultancy, research, education & training services to rural businesses and communities via a nation-wide network of around 40 business units.
SAC are looking for an enthusiastic, creative team player to work within our Aberdeen Campus Library based at Craibstone Estate.
Your core responsibility will be to provide an efficient and effective library and information service through management of staff and stock, and provision of training to users as required.
The successful candidate should possess a professional library qualification and have demonstrable supervisory experience.  You will be fully conversant with current IT developments and will be able to expand the Library's services in these areas.
The salary will be in the region of £23,305 - £27,260 per annum.
This post is fixed term from August 2011 for one year in the first instance.
