A reminder of the call for works for live electronics pieces for the EMS
concert on Thursday 23rd June (please note: THURSDAY - the previous call
listed the erroneous date of Wednesday 23rd).

THURSDAY 23rd JUNE (live electronics)
7.30 - 9.00pm, Great Hall, RHB
Technical set-up: from 2.00pm; soundchecks from approx. 3.30-4.00pm onwards
until 6.30pm.
Duration: up to a maximum of 15 mins. per piece.
Equipment: We will be using the Genelec 8-speaker & subwoofer system, so
surround sound works will be considered
WHAT TO SUBMIT
If you wish to submit a piece please email [log in to unmask] by the end of
Friday 17th June including the following information (proposals WITHOUT this
information may well be ignored!):
* title of your piece/performance
* details about any specific technical requirements
* year
* estimated duration
* names of the performers involved
It is very important to include exact details as to what is required from a
technical point of view (e.g. how many channels you will require on the
mixing desk, which cables you will need to get to the mixing desk, any
microphones/mic stands required, any music stands or tables, etc.)
If your piece is selected you will be notified by email on Monday 20th June.
You will be expected to assist with the technical setup and take down of the
concert equipment, attend a soundcheck of your piece between 3.30 -
6.00pm, and be present at the concert to performs/playback/diffuse your
piece.
If you are not intending to submit a proposal but are available to assist
with the technical setup (from 2.00pm onwards) and/or take down of
