Dear all,
Augean have kindly agreed to accommodate us with a site visit to Port Clarence in the afternoon after the morning conference between 2.30 and 4.30 pm. Places are limited to 20, allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you would like to attend you need to be registered for the conference (see www.tees.ac.uk events page for 6th July, or follow the link at the bottom of the attached programme) and then to e-mail Richard Green ([log in to unmask]) to reserve a place.
The company have asked that delegates bring their own PPE if possible (i.e. hard hat, steel toecap site boots, high visibility vest or jacket, eye protection, gloves).
Delegates who are travelling by car will be able to park at Port Clarence (TS2 1UE). For those who are travelling to the event by public transport we will organise a lift to and from the site and Teesside University (TS1 3BA). Please can you indicate if you need this when you book a place?
We already have over a hundred delegates booked but still have capacity for a few additional attendees for the morning conference for what promises to be an excellent showcase of the state-of-the-art of sustainable and low carbon approaches to contaminated land remediation in the UK. The event is free to members, thanks to sponsorship from Dunton Environmental Ltd and NHBC, so please contact the NECLF, YCLF or NWBRF organiser to join the respective network for your location.
