Is the Harvey Jason character in Too Late the Hero (1968) supposed to be a 'black' character?
Too Late the Hero (re. the 1942 Pacific Ocean operation) is an Anglo-American war film directed by Robert Aldrich, & starring the likes of Cliff Robertson, Michael Caine, & Denholm Elliott.

Apart from a brief and interesting appearance by a Black WW2 RAF pilot in Appointment in London (1951) starring Dirk Bogarde, and the Black soldier trying to evacuate Dunkirk in 1940 with James McAvoy in the more recent Atonement, it is almost impossible to find examples.
