CK Clinical is currently recruiting for an experienced statistician to
work for a Blue-chip pharmaceutical organisation in the UK. The purpose
of the role is to support the global oncology drug development
portfolio. Working in a matrix team, you will plan, manage and analyse
oncology trials primarily for molecules in Phases 2 and 3. You will also
assist in developing strategies for the project clinical development
plans.
To be successful within this role you will have:
* MSc (or equivalent) or PhD in Statistics or very similar area
* Substantial pharmaceutical industry experience in Biostatistics
and clinical drug development
* Directly relevant oncology experience to enable you to lead
Biostatistics activities on Phase 3 studies, including both internal and
external meetings
* Ability to process information, analyse data, and reach
conclusions based on sound reasoning
* Ability to work in a global team, frequently in a matrix manner
* Experience in using statistical software (particularly SAS, R or
S-Plus).
* Very good English language skills
Professional and Interpersonal Skills:
* Ability to communicate concisely, clearly and accurately in
written reports and data, presentations and in one-to-one meetings as
required
* Establish and maintain good working relationships in a highly
collaborative global environment
* Participate in and contribute to internal training programs and
professional meetings
* In collaboration with line management, ability to plan and
monitor resource allocation for statistical tasks
