Salary (inclusive of London allowance): £27,907 - £29,435 per annum
Duties and Responsibilities:
Applications are invited for a position as Research Assistant (Statistician) within the HIV Epidemiology & Biostatistics Group in the Research Department of Infection & Population Health. The post is for 31-33 months (depending on when the successful candidate can take up post) with the possibility of further funding and is available immediately. This post involves responsibility for design and analysis of observational studies relating to HIV within the UK Collaborative HIV Cohort (CHIC) Study.
This post is funded until 31st March 2014 in the first instance.
Key Requirements:
Applicants must have a good first degree (2:1 or above) in mathematics, statistics or a related subject, with an MSc in Medical Statistics or equivalent, and some knowledge of the statistical package SAS. Excellent written/spoken English and communication skills are also essential.
