Do you want to develop mathematics to solve challenging, real-world

If so then why not consider applying to the STOR-i Doctoral Training Centre
(DTC).
We have a very limited number of funded places available to start this
coming October 2011. To find out more, please see below.

The funding for the remaining places is only for UK-eligible students.
We regret that, for a start in October 2011, we will not be able to consider
applications from students who do not meet the funding
criteria.

The STOR-i DTC at Lancaster University is a pioneering new 4 year Statistics
and Operational Research PhD programme with substantial
Government and industry backing. For October 2010 entry we have fully-funded
studentships, with up to 50% more funding than standard
PhDs (equating to a competitive graduate salary). STOR-i offers you a new
style of PhD training, which provides an
