Special Educational Needs – are you up-to-date with what’s possible?
Supporting Children with Special Educational Needs: practical tools for
providing a better service for children and young people is being held on 7
July. This course is ideal for those who have a remit for supporting
children with a variety of learning disabilities and need to build up their
knowledge and experience.
This is a tailored and interactive course allowing plenty of opportunity for
learning and sharing with peers. By the end of the session participants
will have:
o Understood a range of learning difficulties and their
implications
o A greater knowledge of the legislative and educational framework
for SEN provision
o Practical methods for supporting SEN children’s learning
o Ideas for developing SEN children’s engagement with cultural and
heritage settings and offers
o New ideas for activities and promotions
o More confidence when helping children and young people with
learning problems
