JISC itself runs a course (http://www.jiscdigitalmedia.ac.uk/training/courses/advanced-techniques-in-digital-image-capture) that sounds very much like what you're looking for, although at the moment, it's uncertain when there'll be another. Otherwise, this course (http://transmedia.co.uk/course-details.php?CourseID=CRS001) by Transmedia sounds as though it would fit the bill (and the organisation itself lists both the British Library and the National Museum of Wales among its clients).
Good luck on the hunt!
